Last night I went to the Portland Fashion Week First Thursday Mixer at the Aloft Hotel and had a blast! It's always really nice to see my PFW fam and all the people that come out to play in the name of fashion.
I say this all the time, but I'm still totally blown away by how much talent and fashion there is in Portland! The saying in PDX is 'Keep Portland Weird' which in my opinion is the perfect description of what fashion in Portland looked like up until now. Just plain weird and sometimes very strange-ha!
I'm excited to see that Portland has stepped its game up! If you're interested in fashion and you live in the Portland area now is definitely the time to get involved! With the success of the Project Runway contestants, Portland Fashion Week and all of the many models, designers and photographers coming out of the PDX, Portland is definitely making a name for itself in the fashion world! Exciting!

Quick reminder: If you haven't gotten your tickets for Portland Fashion Week yet make sure you get them asap! I've seen the designer lineup and trust me, you're not going to want to miss it!
