6/7 grand opening

Getting involved in Portland Fashion Week was one of the greatest decisions of my life. Though the program itself has had ups and downs, PFW totally opened my eyes to the fashion industry here in Portland. Two years ago I had no idea so many cool things were happening in my city. Fast forward to today where I'm always attending a new event or learning about a new local designer. It's way cool!

Last month I attended Content Portland where I first learned about the collaboration between Boet jewelry, apparel designer Liza Rietz and their grand opening happening a few weeks later. I was so inspired by their installation at Content that I decided I absolutely had to attend their grand opening for SIX/SEVEN.

SIX/SEVEN is a collaborative clothing line and storefront that combines jewelry and fashion in a magnificent way. Seriously guys, it's way cool! Many of the clothing pieces feature crocheted wool accents that mirror the crocheted patterns of Boet jewelry.

The collaboration between Boet and Liza Rietz is beautifully done and is, in my opinion, a great representation of the collaborative mindset of fashion industry here in Portland.

6/7 is more than a store front. There are really interesting jewelry and apparel pieces hanging from the wall which almost makes the space feel like a gallery as well.

If you are in the E Burnside area I definitely recommend checking it out! 6/7 is located at 811 E Burnside #111
