diy braided chain necklace.

It's been forever since I've made jewelry. If you've been following Downtown Glam for a while, you might remember that I used to have a jewelry business, Sierra Yvette (formally Hate'er Jewelry) in college. My website is actually still active-ha!

I loved making jewelry and with customers all over the country and even overseas, Sierra Yvette was doing really well. Two years after starting the company I left the University of Oregon and my priorities changed which, sort of caused me to press pause on the jewelry thing. I'd love to get back into it but between managing all of Arreis's clients, Downtown Glam, working full time, going to school and "trying" to have a social life, it's definitely been tough.

Despite my busy schedule, I've really been in the mood to create something jewelry wise. And thus, we have this braided chain necklace.

It was actually really refreshing to make this necklace. It definitely brought back a lot of memories from my college days. I've been thinking about slowly bringing Sierra Yvette back from hibernation...I guess we'll just see how it goes.
