PORTLAND FASHION: JOHAN

One of the things I love about working with PFINE is that I'm always discovering new local brands, designers and boutiques here in town. 

I've been following Johan on Instagram for a couple months now and I've been dying to visit. When I saw that they were hosting a popup shop for Tanner Ann naturally I grabbed my camera and my fashion partner-in-crime and headed over. 

Located in SE Portland, Johan is a minimalist dream. I seriously can't get over just how gorgeous it is in there! 

I can already tell that this new discovery is going to be bad news for my bank account. So far I've spotted two ARA Handbags, a gorgeous Sea + Pattern necklace and three Midnight Collective essential mists (and possibly a bath salt) that I must have! Sidebar: I wish I could describe to you how amazing it smelled in the shop. Apparently before the party they sprayed one of the Midnight Collective essential mists throughout the shop hence, why I now need every scent-ha! 

I think one of the best parts about visiting Johan was meeting the owner, Laura. I've meet a lot of designers, boutique owners, etc and honestly, it's not always the best experience (you know how the fashion industry can be, even in Portland-ha.)

Laura was awesome and super friendly. We dished about the our hometowns, chatted about the space and of course talked about falling in love with the Ara Handbags.

I'm excited to visit again, and this time leave with a bag....or two!
