Last Thursday I attended the Portland Fashion Week Mid Summer Mixer at the Doug Fir Lounge + Jupiter Hotel. From what I gathered, the purpose of the mixer was to hang out, enjoy a little music and refreshments and get people excited for Portland Fashion Week in the Fall.
Whatever the reason, I had a blast!

When I first arrived at the venue I must admit it was a little awkward simply because I felt really shy (crazy right). However, fast forward an half an hour and I was a socializing machine! I was able to meet a few key people involved in PFW such as Tod Foulk (Founding Member of PFW), Abibat Durosimi (Fashion + Beauty Director) and Neiman Jeffery (Fashion+ Beauty Assistant).

I didn't get a chance to speak with Jessica Kane (Executive Director) but somehow I managed to get a picture with her. Lol.

One thing I love about the members of the PFW team I've met so far is that they're all super friendly, down-to-earth and extremely humble.
If I wasn't excited for Portland Fashion Week before I most certainly am now!
