Last year I put together a his & her's shopping guide that turned out to be quite popular. Even though I love the big name retailers, I think it's extremely important to support local businesses as well. By shopping local, you're not only getting an awesome (handmade in most cases) product but, you're also supporting someones passion and dream by investing in their business. And let's be real, there are some pretty awesome #PortlandMade brands here in Portland!

It's really hard to just pick a few businesses when there are many local brands and designers that I love. It's literally impossible. But, if you love local fashion you definitely have to play Little Boxes!
Little boxes is a city-wide shopping event here in Portland that happens during Black Friday and Small Business Saturday and includes 200+ retailers. During the two-day event, each time you shop at one of these retailers you get discounts and other prize goodies. Truthfully, I'm not the best at describing how it all works so head over to littleboxespdx.com to get the details.
What I can tell you however, is that Little Boxes is a lot of fun! I played last year and got some good stuff. I was supposed to be Christmas shopping but I ended up getting stuff for myself. Oops. Haha :)

LOVE that clutch! There are so many amazing designers and local shops here in Portland. We really are so lucky!
