#portlandfashion: machine apparel open house

This past weekend was pretty busy for the Portland fashion industry. From grand openings, open houses and the Portland Fashion & Style awards, it was a nonstop, fashion full weekend.

Though I didn't get a chance to attend every event, I did catch Machine Apparel's open house at their new studio at Towne Storage Studios.

I've been following Machine Apparel on Instagram for a few months now and was really looking forward to finally meeting designer, Jessica Caldwell and celebrating a new chapter for Machine Apparel.

It was great. Jessica is a total sweetheart and her space is absolutely gorgeous! I'm really excited to see what amazing things come from Machine Apparel in the future and, to get my hands on their AW15 wool + leather jacket! It's amazing!
