what's in my makeup bag.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect makeup bag for quite some time. Yes, I could've gone to Target or Sephora and picked up something cute and functional but much like buying furniture, I wanted a bag that was the perfect size and also fit my personality. Although this bag was intended to be a clutch and the quote isn't exactly original, I instantly fell in love with it. "More issues than Vogue" is a hilarious quote for a makeup bag. I had to get it!

Between the traffic and the extreme hassle, I typically don't go home throughout the day. That being said, you never know who you're going to see, where you'll be invited, and most importantly who's going to invite you so, I’ve learned (the hard way) to make sure I have access to my holy Grail makeup items at all times. Trust me, rushing home or buying new makeup all the time is not fashionable and is definitely not good for a girl trying to save up for a new camera. Ha!

With my new makeup-bag in toe, I thought it would be fun to do a “what’s in my makeup bag” post. These are the items I wear daily. My Holy Grail, ride-or-die, must-have items.

In my last post I talked about my 2015 fashion resolutions. My beauty resolution for the new year is to continue to stay grounded. Everyone has their own comfort level when it comes to makeup. There's nothing wrong with wearing "the works" on a daily basis but, it's super important to have confidence in yourself with makeup as well as without makeup. Just my little words of wisdom. 

I also want to master winged liner. Am I the only one who can't do it?! I can contour my cheeks, sculpt my eyebrows and highlight to the gwads but I can't seem to get winged liner! Smh, it's such a shame..ha! (:
