ALLEY.

Last Friday I went to Alley 33, a summer fashion show produced by Siren Nation. Altar PDX and Elizabeth Mollo Productions. 20 local designers showed this season and as usual, I was NOT disappointed. MooreFolly and Altar were my favorite designers of the night. Between the three of them, there were so many pieces I need/want. Like seriously!

In my last post I talked about what's in my bag when I go to fashion shows.  The extra memory card and portable charger totally saved me! I ran out of space on my memory card 3/4 of the way through the show and my phone was on 15% by the time the fourth designer showed (I forgot to charge it the night before smh.)

The one thing I don't like about Alley 33 though is that there's no seating. I staked out a good spot for pictures but with everyone crowed around the runway I ended up with a lot of pictures with peoples' heads, arms and face all up in the way. Annoying. Never-the-less I had a great time. I'm really proud of everyone that showed. Working in fashion marketing and PR I see the struggles small local designers face with resourcing materials, production and manufacturing so it was nice to see such cohesive and well made pieces on the runway.
