I seriously cannot believe that it's already August! It was literally June like two seconds ago! Ridic!
So far I've had a really great summer. I've paddled across Lost Lake, eaten lots of ice cream, drank pretty drinks with friends, admired the city at night and spent lots of time in the sand. But, there are a few more things I still have to do this summer before I can officially accept that the summer is over. Here's my end-of-summer bucket list to live it up this month! #DTSUMMER
1. HAVE A PICNIC
2. COLOR WITH SIDEWALK CHALK
3. DIY DENIM SHORTS
4. HAVE A BONFIRE ON THE BEACH
5. EAT S'MORES
6. FINISH A BOOK
7. WATCH THE SUNSET OVER THE CITY
8. GO BACK TO LOST LAKE (or discover another lake/river)
9. GO HIKING
10. EAT BRUNCH ON THE RIVER
11. GO TO THE ZOO
12. MAKE A SUMMER SALAD WITH FRUIT FROM THE FAMER'S MARKET
13. MAKE + EAT POPSICLES
14. EAT WATERMELON (I just realized that I haven't eaten any watermelon ALL summer! Problems!)
15. TAKE A PICTURE OF A PINEAPPLE (I don't know what's up with everyone and Pineapples this summer but apparently I'm following the bandwagon. SMH. Don't judge me).

Great bucket list! This summer has been so busy for us that my goal is to just make it through in one piece!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bucket list!!! I've only completed a few of those this summer - I need to get on the bandwagon with you!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that you created a bucket list with a bucket bag in the pic! I am a sucker for little metaphoric significances like that. PS I am with you on the fresh fruit salad from the farmers market and a bonfire before summers end. Those two are on my list as well!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, I didn't even realize that I used a bucket bag for the bucket list! Ha! I just picked this bag because I've been so obsessed with it lately! Haha :)
DeleteGreat bucket list! Love the idea of brunch on the river. My bucket list is to make it to the end of summer with my sanity intact ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! I don't know what is up with pineapples either, but totally count me in on it because I'm completely drawn to it.
ReplyDeleteRight! I totally want to do an outfit post with like 5 pineapples! Haha okay, that might be a bit much but you get the idea! Haha.
Delete*gasp* I am ashamed you haven't eaten any watermelon yet. I just don't know if I can move on from that lol
ReplyDeleteWe are going to the zoo mid-August, it's been far too long since we gone and my sister is coming into town and that was her one request.
Lol I know, I know! When I realized that I couldn't believe it! AND I didn't even realize that yesterday was National Watermelon Day! SMH...I've been slacking haha
DeleteThe pineapple picture bucket gave me a big smile! Maybe you can blend it up with coconut milk afterwards and make those popsicles!!
ReplyDeleteOoooooh! That sounds like a good idea! Yum!
DeleteHa, love the pineapple picture item. Summer isn't quite over yet - you've got plenty of time but good to have a list to make sure you get them done! On my list is some of the same - more hiking; more farmers market visits; spend a day being lazy outside reading (if it stays below 90 this might actually happen!) and take more evening walks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to create a list of fun things to accomplish. I create lists for everything else in my life. Why not for play!? Good thinking. :)
