ADAM LIPPES FOR TARGET.

Truthfully, I'm kind of over the Target x (fill in the blank designer) collections. The past few collaborations just haven't been all that exciting to me. There were a few cute pieces in the Peter Pilotto collection that I liked and I did purchase the Altuzarra black trench (love that thing), but over all there hasn't been anything that really made me want to stand in line for hours to buy.

Target's newest designer collection with Adam Lippes will be available online and in-stores on September 27th. Though I'm not overly excited for the collection, I do love a good lined, stripped or patterned piece and there are a few items that look like nice mix-and-match staples.

Though I won't be waiting in line for the doors to open, I'm planning on swinging by at some point to see if there are any stripped pieces available.

What are your thoughts on the AdamLippes x Target collection? Anything catch your eye? #AdamLippesforTarget

  1. These are classic, but it also seems so classic that it could be by anyone from anywhere so it's not really catching my eye as anything special unless there are cooler black/white patterns or better tailoring that I'm not seeing so far...

  2. Nothing I'd go out of my way for, but I might pick it up if I saw it on the rack.

  3. I really like those checked work pants! Agreed, the designer collections can go overboard though.

  4. I saw that plaid dress in store the other day. I swear it was exactly that dress. Maybe some of that stuff is already in the store?

  5. I'm afraid that all those big plaids in this collection would make my 5'3" slightly round self look like a monochrome munchkin :)
