Every time I see these pictures I crack up laughing. Doesn't the top photo look like it could be an album cover? Maybe it's the all black attire or the fact that we both look so serious but in my mind it looks like we should be releasing our debut album or something-ha!
Back in December I asked my friend to do a photo shoot with me for a project I'm working on (hence all the phone action). I'll share more about the special project later but until then I had to share a few of the pictures. Candace Moltore's photography skills are awesome and my girl and I are looking ultra fashionable-ha!
Speaking of fashion, as the fashion world prepares for Couture Week in Paris next week and New York Fashion Week (aka fashion month) in February, us Portlanders prepare for a few fashion events of our own.

FADE TO LIGHT
Wednesday, February 24th 6PM at 1332 W Burnside St
Fade to Light is a bi-annual fashion show (and one of my favorites) that encourages designers to think outside the box in the way they present their collections. Think runway show combined with live music, dance performances and videography.

That top photos is the best! It IS like an album cover! I used to go to more fashion events but rarely do now, and now there are so many more than even just a couple of years ago. Love all of the fashion entrepreneurs in PDX!
ReplyDeleteI know right! There are TONS!
DeleteIt feels like there are a lot more fashion brands popping up these days too.
Love those photos! So fun! I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I've never been to any fashion events, but they sound so fun. Perhaps I'll get brave enough to exit my comfort zone and check one of these out!
ReplyDeleteYeah! You should totally come to one! :)
